Action Aid Uganda operates women protection centres [GBV shelters] providing quality, timely, integrated friendly services to survivors of gender based violence through and strengthen effective referral and collaborative justice mechanisms.
Focuses on intimate partner violence and sexual violence and has trained over 50 community groups on radio listening sessions in selected locations across Kenya, with programs covering sexual exploitation and gender based violence
Care At The Core of Humanity (CATCH) is an organization that works with children that are in need of rehabilitation focusing on those in conflict with the law and those that have encountered abuse with the main objective of protecting the welfare and human rights of children including their rights to a fair trial and protection from inhuman treatment or punishment.
Centre for Education, Promotion and Advancement of the Rights of Adolescent Mothers (CEPARAM)
Protection and promotion of the rights of adolescent mothers and preventing unwanted pregnancy among young girls. Campaign, advocate, and safeguard the rights of adolescent mothers. Provide counseling and legal services to adolescent mothers, young women and girls.provide shelter to adolescents who have been abandoned, victimized and abused as a result of their pregnancy. Provide civic education and factual information on all aspects of human sexuality to teenagers including sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), HIV/AIDS education and family planning to adolescents. Provide life skills to teen mothers which will raise their self-esteem and value awareness and skills in decision making, problem solving, communication and leadership.

Through their HIV and AIDS program (2008-2010), they:
• educated communities on SGBV and gender inequalities in the society enabling direct outreach to these communities
• offered response to SGBV survivors through reporting these cases, supporting and counselling survivors
