Cutting edge work on gender and the media , that has included seminal research studies. Has a justice programme that has carried out baseline surveys on prevalence and perpetration of gender based violence (GBV) in six countries (Botswana, Mauritius, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and South Africa) which revealed level of GBV. Aim to end GBV and empower women.
Working on the struggle of HIV/AIDS and its consequences. Combine efforts with other organizations to help and support infected people and other people. Teach and give information to HIV infected persons on hygenic education, medical insurance, homebased care and children sponsorship education.
Committed to supporting the children and mothers of Malawi especially those who are infected or affected by pediatric aids through improvement of care given to them. Have an emergency response unit to cases of sexual violence.
Contribute towards the social and economic development of an effective and well coordinated community responses aimed at provision of services in mitigating the impact of HIV/AIDS, gender based violence and working on the issues of water, sanitation, environment,food security, gender, health and education.
