Dr. Mbui Wagacha is a renowned Kenyan macro-economist and policy expert. He has worked in UNCTAD (Geneva, Switzerland), the Association of African Central Banks (Dakar, Senegal), and the African Development Bank (Abidjan and Tunis). He has consulted for the World Bank, IFC, UN and the Bank of Tanzania. In recent years, he served as Ag. Chair of the Board of the Central Bank of Kenya and as a Senior Economic Advisor, in the Executive Office of the President of Kenya. He chaired the Committee on Kenya’s Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF Bill, 2014) in the Office of the President.
