This past Saturday, a group of Community Outreach Programme volunteers paid a visit to Sister’s of Charity, a center for disabled persons, located in Lang’ata. For two of the volunteers, this was their first time to take part in our activities. This is what they had to say about their experience…
The experience at the center opened my eyes to a reality that calls for one as a human being to live a purposeful life. To live a virtuous life as a brother’s and sister’s keeper because as God ordained it, it is the essence of being a human being.

I joined COP a while back but got the opportunity to go for my first activity last Saturday. We visited Mother Teresa’s Sisters of Charity center in Lang’ata, a home for disabled persons. I like what this loving family (COP) does to the society by making hearts smile. It was a pleasure helping out in doing different tasks such as laundry and general cleaning. Am glad to be a member of COP!
