"The Swami training has broadened our minds and opened up new horizons for us" These were the sentiments expressed by elated graduates of the SWAMI course in a speech read on their behalf during the inaugural SWAMI graduation held on 5th November 2005.

Speaking during the graduation, Hon Peter Kenneth, EGH, MP, Assistant Minister for Cooperative Development and Marketing encouraged SACCOS in the region to take advantage of existing opportunities in the SWAMI programme as a SWAMI certificate will enable graduates steer SACCOS to new horizons.

The SWAMI course is a comprehensive training program for SACCO Management, Senior Staff, and members working towards becoming SACCO managers. Participants take a series of courses that prepare them to handle the challenges SACCOs face in today's changing environment.
