On February 7, Strathmore University Press (SUP) released its first book in conjunction with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Entitled Shareholder Value and the Common Good, the book contains 25 essays examining, from an ethical perspective, the purpose of business management.

The essays were presented at the First Annual Ethics Conference held at Strathmore University in June 2003.

Edited by Dr David Lutz and Rev Dr Paul Mimbi, the book was published with the help of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

Dr Lutz, a Senior Lecturer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi Kenya, has many years' international teaching and research experience in the field of Business, Philosophy and Ethics. Rev Fr Mimbi is a lecturer and Chaplain at Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya.
