| The Strathmore University soccer team won the inaugural Thika Institute of Technology soccer tournament on 10th February held in Thika. After a 1 – 1 draw score by the end of normal and extra time play, the game went into penalty shoot-out where SU coached by former Harambee stars player and coach Mickey Weche emerged victorious beating the hosts 6-5. |
