The Kenya Hockey Union has released the names of players for the squad that will represent the country in the Under-21 Olympic qualifying competition in Cairo in July. Strathmore University’s hockey players are the majority in the squad - with 12 of the 22 players coming from Strathmore.

The players are: Billy Mollah, Frank Wanangwe, Allan Iningu, Dan Ojwang, George Mutira, Brian Msasia, Davies Wanangwe, Samuel Wokila, Sammy Webo, Kevin Mukonambi, Eshikuri Francis, and Brian Kute.

Three of the players i.e. Frank Wanangwe, Billy Mollar, and Allan Iningu were in the disbanded senior team that played in the African Olympics qualifiers last year. The University team is preparing to resume its premier league title campaign after a long break.
