Strath FC
Osman (second left) of SU heads the ball in the game against Gatundu stars
Strathmore University soccer team, Strath FC played two games on 12th and 13th May 2007 in the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) Nationwide League. The young team had a date with Muruguru United FC from Nyeri on Saturday 12th May 2007 at the University grounds.

After a slow start that saw a first half without a goal, Strath lads scored twice through Michael "Daddy" Owiti and Dennis Oromo in the second half. The game ended 2–1 in favor of Strathmore. The following day the team had a fixture against the experienced Gatundu Stars FC. The game was tight and physical.

The visitors were fighting for a draw to earn the much relished away point. However this was not to be after Dennis Oromo scored the only goal of the match to secure 3 points for Strathmore.

This was the second busy weekend for the newly promoted Strathmore team. In the first game the team lost narrowly to Agrifresh of Naivasha but recovered after collecting a maximum 6 points on 12th and 13th May.
