Transition: Phyllis Racheal Ong'alo

Phyllis Ong'alo

Phyllis Ong'alo passed away on 7th of February, 2008. She joined the university in July 2006 to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree. She was a committed, outstanding and dedicated student who attained very high grades even in her last exams which she did while ill.

In March 2007, she was diagnosed with cancer. For 11 months, she bore the illness very bravely, barely expressing her anguish. She was a very active member of AIESEC and was so committed to the activities of the club that she even worked during her holidays in December 2006.

Rest in peace Phyllis.
