Serving Students Better - Online Registration
Students' Online Registration

Strathmore University Students can now register online for courses using the University's intranet. The whole process, which is being used for the registration of students coming back to study with us in July 2006, it only takes a couple of minutes to complete.

The students online registration is part of the new Academic Management System (AMS) launched in the University a few months ago. The AMS is part of the wider improvements in the ICT infrastructure of the university. With it the students are able to register, check exam results, check their fees balance, and many other features. They also have access to an e-learning site, which the students can use to prepare and submit projects and reports to their lecturers, be mentored by them if necessary, have discussion groups among students working on a common project and so on.

The online registration of students will be continuing until mid July, by which time most students will have registered for their courses. It is expected that this new method of registration will be used by all students from now onwards.
