Strathmore University (SU) choir made its first ever appearance at the prestigious Kenya music festivals in 2005. These festivals are a national showcase for music and dance involving teams from all levels of educational institutions. The SU choir was entered in the Colleges and Universities category where we competed against music established universities such as Kenyatta University and Moi University.
