Leos
Felix Osiemo in last year's Nakuru 10s
Strathmore University 'Leos' made it to the semi finals in the just concluded Nakuru 10s. This was an improvement from last year's fifth finish. Leos were in pool D alongside Makerere University Impis, Daystar University and Maseno University.

The first game saw Leos beat Daystar 14-0 with tries from rookie winger Mike Wanjala and rookie fly-half Ken Andola. Andola was sure with both conversions. Second game saw Leos take on Maseno and won 12-0 with two tries courtesy of bulky hooker Edwin "Adebayor” Ombogo. Andola was sure with one conversion.

The last pool game of the day was Makerere. This was a hard fought game that saw Leos lose narrowly with the final score at 7-5. Try scorer for Leos was rookie centre Joseph Abala. This placed Leos second in the pool and face Nondescripts RFC in the main cup quarters.

Leos beat Nondescripts 14-10. Try scorers for Leos were long serving centers Teddy "Mashugee" Salano and Edgar Osege. Leos played Mwamba RFC in the semis. Mwamba's experience carried the match for them. Leos took a development side which showed a lot of promise. Man of the tournament honors for Leos went to Edwin Ombogo for his good work rate, tenacious defence and scoring of tries.
