Mr John Githongo, the Former Permanent Secretary for Ethics and Governance will on Friday, 22nd August give a talk on "Re-defining Ethics in Africa – Key issues". The talk based on his research at St Anthony's College Oxford where he has been a research fellow. It will begin at 2.30pm in the University's auditorium.
Mr Githongo is currently Vice President, World Vision. He is also a member of Strathmore Business School's (SBS) Advisory Board. In 2003, Mr Githongo gave the opening address for the inaugural Strathmore annual ethics conference.
And on Wednesday, 27th August, the Chair of SBS advisory Board Baroness Lynda Chalker will give a talk on "Leading Africa into the 21st Century". The talk will begin at 5.30pm in the University's auditorium. Baroness Chalker is former British Minister of State for Africa Affairs and is currently Chairman of Africa Matters Limited.
