Enhancing Kenya-China Relations in the Legal Field

Strathmore Law School was pleased to host China Law Society for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing, between the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and the Law School. The new partnership is set to jointly build the China-Africa Legal Research Centre and Training Base.

Through joint research programs, training projects and legal services, the partnership will provide an extensive results-oriented educating platform.

The Law School Dean, Dr. Luis Franceschi, stated that the collaboration will awaken the interests of young brilliant African law students from Strathmore and other universities in Kenya, on China and its culture and potential as a partner.

Strathmore University is the first African University to develop relations with China to enhance legal education.
