SU 3rd Premier Plus Institution in AfricaDecember 4, 2006 Strathmore University was awarded Premier Plus Status by ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) under its University and College Registration Scheme (UCRS). This is the highest level of accreditation under the scheme. Strathmore University is the 3rd ACCA tuition provider in Africa to receive such an award (the first in the eastern African region). UCRS is designed to recognize tuition providers who meet a set of specific quality criteria. More... SU Hockey National League ChampsNovember 27, 2006 Strathmore University hockey team lifted the Kenya Hockey Union men's National League 2006 title in style after stunning Mvita 4 – 1 in a hotly contested final. Following the feat, Strathmore have earned promotion to the Premier League and a ticket to represent Kenya in the regional club championships next year. Strathmore better known as the "Gladiators" had earlier on led in the regular league standings only losing one game to Mvita. More... Advanced Management Program (AMP) LaunchedJanuary 11, 2006 Lynda Baroness Chalker was the guest speaker during the launch of the AMP program at Nairobi Serena Hotel. She said like other African countries, Kenya lacked managerial skills. The same views were echoed by Mr Naikuni who called on the private sector to find ways of embracing civil servants.
