Strathmore University will host the V Annual Ethics Conference, a high profile Ethics & Governance Forum. The theme of the conference is: Governance: Institutions and The Human Condition. It will be held on 30 and 31 October, 2008 in Phase II. The Conference’s objective is to bring together a selected group of scholars, VIPs and policy makers to review the essential aspects of governance and to deliberate on some of the challenges facing the nation.

The Conference has been planned taking into consideration four paramount topics which are at the foundation of the great divide that could make or break the future of the country: Education, Institutions and Ideals, Constitution making, and the Land Issue.

These topics will be presented and debated by a number outstanding scholars including, Professor Yash Pal Ghai, Professor Patricia Kameri-Mbote, Professor Okoth-Ogendo, Professor Richard Wilkins, Professor Bethwel Ogot, Professor Justice J.B. Ojwang, Professor David C. Sperling, Professor Christine Gichure, Professor Albert Mumma, and Dr PLO Lumumba.
