Charity Mwaura

Charity Mwaura, the Business Development Manager at Strathmore Research and Consultancy Centre (SRCC) is the 500th alum to subscribe to the Strathmore Alumni Liasion Office (SALO) website.

"As a Strathmore Alum you get the opportunity to network (i.e. social and business networks) with other alumni who are in different industries. You also get access to quality and fairly priced financial products that you can trust whether you are abroad or in Kenya," Charity said.

Charity finished her CPA at Strathmore University in 2003. She has five years experience in the banking sector. The last bank she worked for was NIC in Corporate Relationship Management.

Charity has a Masters in Entrepreneurship. "My vision for SRCC is for it to be an effective vehicle that exploits synergy amongst all schools, faculties and departments within the Strathmore fraternity. My vision for Kenya, is for both Private and Public sectors to appreciate the importance of SMEs and Youth entrepreneurship development for the future of our economy," she said.

Her inspiration:  To always have a positive mind, as life is shaped by ones thoughts (cf. Philippians 4:8).
