The Career Development and Placement Office will host the University’s Annual Career Fair on Friday, 3rd February at the Graduation Square. 30 organisations drawn from various sectors such as banking, hospitality, tourism, IT, insurance, education, the civil society, and manufacturing industries have confirmed participation in the event.

The 2-6-6-3 system of education proposed by Taskforce on Realignment of Education to the Constitution 2010 aims to cut the cost of university education by reducing the minimum number of years for undergraduate degree from 4 to 3 years, says Hon David Koech, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Research and Technology.

The University's @ilab Africa research institute is running a business strategy training for applicants short-listed for Kenya ICT Board's Tandaa Digital Content Grant.  | The DVC, the marathon and the fitness club
Prof Izael Da Silva, the Deputy Vice Chancellor - Academic Affairs completed the 2011 Stanchart marathon in 4 hours and 9 minutes. It was the first attempt at a full marathon for the 51 year-old scholar. He is now spearheading efforts to start a running and fitness club at the University. Read More |
