The Hills Program on Governance, founded by former Securities and Exchange Commission chairman Roderick Hills, is one of the most vibrant programs at the Washington-based, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a non-partisan think tank focused on international policy.

The Hills Program on Governance seeks to promote good governance across the private, public, and civic sectors by addressing institutional sources of corruption and promoting transparency and accountability within and among those sectors. The Centers will advance good governance by conducting rigorous research and analysis and disseminating the results, facilitating sectoral and regional dialogue, and developing educational tools to improve governance today and empower those who will ensure good governance tomorrow.
