SGC at the East Africa Community governance conference |

 A team from Strathmore Governance Centre (SGC) attended the 2nd East Africa Community (EAC) conference on promoting good governance in regional integration held at the Hilton Hotel on 19th and 20th August. The team comprised the SGC Director Dr Antoinette Kankindi; Research Resident Dr Tom Odhiambo; and the Resource Project Manager Ms Lilian Munene.

Federalism ideal form of government for DRC |
 Dr Kankindi Dr Antoinette Kankindi, the Director of Strathmore Governance Centre presented a paper titled "A necessary reform: overcoming the limits of centralization" at the ‘Revisiting Independence: the DRC 50 Years On' conference in Goma in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) from 28th June to 2nd July. DRC marked its 50th anniversary of independence from Belgium on 30th June.
