In November, 2001, graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw, Poland.
Earlier, in March 1998, he graduated with an MSc. in Finance and Banking in from same institution of higher learning.
Academic Awards
October 1998 – October 2001: This was an award in the form of a Ph.D. Research Course, offered and funded fully by the Polish Government. It was an Award in honor of the best overall grade in master’s degree program.

Money, Banking and Financial Markets, Kenyan Banking industry and other financial institutions, Monetary Economics and Intermediate Macroeconomics, Finance, Management issues, Case Writing and Teaching. Dr Cheruiyot desires to make tangible contributions towards assisting the less fortunate members of the general society through both academic and business research, publishing and teaching as well as via counseling services to entrepreneurs in micro, small and medium especially in the area of community development
