Mrs Lillian Ollows is a lecturer at Strathmore University teaching courses in the area of Finance. She previously taught in the School of Accountancy for three and a half years before moving to the Faculty of Commerce of Strathmore University. She completed her MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi in 2001.
She also taught at the Kenya College of Accountancy on a part-time basis immediately after she left employment at the First American Bank of Kenya in 2002. At the First American Bank, she worked in various departments – systems, customer service, credit and finally trade finance as a sub-manager, for a total of five years.
Her other responsibilities at the University are chairing the teaching and learning committee of the University, mentoring students and sitting on other Faculty committees. She is in the process of starting her doctoral studies with her research interests being in the area of personal finance, capital markets and micro finance.
