The Master of Science in Computer-Based Information Systems (MSc.CIS) programme prepares candidates to become specialists in the Information Technology (IT) to meet the needs of modern business, especially at the middle and senior levels of organisations. Bachelor

The Bachelor of Business Information Technology is a degree program that prepares students to work in the fields of software development, database administration and networking. It is a modern course that brings together two key aspects of computer training, that is, the link between Information Technology and the business environment.
The program prepares students for the job market through thorough knowledge of Information Technology with an understanding and appreciation of how business is organized and managed.

The Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications (BSc.TC) is a degree course designed to prepare graduates with good computer and telecommunications skills which are important in the emerging knowledge economy defined by such technologies as mobile telephony.Click here to view the course brochure.

Diploma

The Diploma in Business Information Technology (DBIT) programme prepares candidates to become specialists in the Information Technology to meet the needs of modern businesses, especially at the middle levels of organisations. It is designed to meet the increasing demand in the work place for IT professionals with a wide knowledge of business management, technical skills and the capacity to offer support in the implementation of IT-based solutions in a business environment.
DBIT is a University Diploma. The curriculum goes beyond material currently covered in Diploma, Higher Diploma and Graduate Diploma programmes in the common professional programmes in Kenya today.

Certificate

The Information Technology Centre (ITC) is a unit within the Faculty of Information Technology at Strathmore that focuses on short computer courses and computer certifications that are of immense value to business and industry. The need for IT skills and professionals at all levels is growing fast in Kenya and the region and ITC unit is addressing that need. The unit offers various Computer Courses with the aim of developing and enhancing the participant's computer knowledge and skills. Upon completion of the programmes, candidates are awarded a Strathmore University Certificate. These courses are tailored to prepare students as they make transition from secondary school to university and college and professional life. In addition, we provide professional skills to our clients through Computer Industry Certification exams like Cisco and Sage/Pastel.
