Strathmore to mark AIESEC's 60th anniversary
AIESEC-Strathmore has organized the Leadership Development Day to mark AIESEC's 60th anniversary. A statement from AIESEC-Strathmore says: this is a day when we get to appreciate what our stakeholders do for us and they also get to see what we do.
The event will be held in Phase II with the talks in the auditorium. Dr Wahome Gakuru, the Director of National Economic and Social Council (NESC) will be the key speaker. Another speaker will be the head of retail banking at Barclays Bank.
There will be an interaction and networking session in the afternoon. Barclays Bank, EABS Bank, and Kenya-Re will have stands at the venue. Other chapters of AIESEC in Kenya have also been invited.
AIESEC (pronounced as one word; originally an acronym for Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) is an international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society. It is probably the largest student organization in the world. It is present in over 1100 universities in over 100 countries.
