Welcome to the Careers Development Office formerly known as Placement Office at Strathmore University.

We will continue to help SU students and alumni plan, prepare and promote their careers. We also partner with local and national employers to bring a variety of internships and jobs to our qualified applicant pool. Please enjoy your visit with us virtually and plan to visit us personally. We are here to help you succeed!

The Careers Development Office serves as a liaison between students and legal employers. It helps students define their career goals and equips them with the skills and information necessary for a successful employment search. They are also able to participate in employer on-campus recruiting visits and the annual Careers Fair.

In addition, the office is always available to alumni in career transition.

The Careers Development Office is located in the Student Centre, 3rd Floor, Phase 3 and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening hours are arranged on a periodic basis.

The Careers Development Office seeks to complement the academic mission of the University by educating and empowering students to take ownership of their professional development as lifelong learners and to function successfully in a global society. Furthermore, the Careers Development Office provides programs and services that create opportunities for employers, students, faculty, and staff to engage in mutually beneficial partnerships that meet the needs of an evolving workforce.  Additionally, we want all of our students to graduate with the six basic career competencies listed below:
