Strathmore helped me think outside of the box

Mark Kaigwa Has Spent The Last 7 Years Helping Global And African Businesses, Brands And Nonprofits Use Technology To Connect With Africans Online. He’s A Consultant, Strategist And Speaker Who Likes To Get Hands-on Solving Problems And Applying Ideas That Will Change The Future Of This Continent And Emerging Markets.

Mark did a diploma in Business Information Technology at Strathmore University in 2007. He never knew he would take a different career path but he says he loves his job as he gets to redefine his job description on a daily basis.  Mark is a creative director/ filmmaker/ entrepreneur/ startup founder/ digital marketer/ speaker/ advisor & thought leader who has co-written an award-winning videogame for Warner Bros, led acclaimed animation workshops and worked with agencies, brands and small & medium sized businesses across Africa to build and sustain value from online communities.

He says “I strive to achieve success, it then that when am given a task, I work to my best to achieve it.” Mark kaigwa has been listed in the Forbes 30 under 30 best young entrepreneurs. He says the sky is the limit. He has recently also been nominated to receive the Strathmore University Young Alumni Award 2013.

Mark says his family has been a pivotal point to his success as his siblings and parents have all been ambassadors in their craft and supported him all the way.
