LEOS ALUMNI START FUND TO ASSIST STUDENTS

DSC_0335.NEF_The Strathmore Leos Old Boys organized the annual Rabadaa cup rugby touch tournament on 23rd June 2015. The Tournament attracted 12 teams consisting of players from Strathmore Leos, Strathmore alumni and invited friends. The games were played in four pools of three teams each and the winners of different categories were as follows:

1.       Main cup winners                 Wanaju  A
2.       Runners up                         Kwekwe
3.       Plate winners                        27.
4.       Bowl winners.                   We dem boys.
The tournament received support from Strathmore Leos Old boys, Coca Cola, Enzatec Strathmore Sports office and the Alumni Relations Office. Winners received t-shirts, Speakers and packets of unga ugali. The tournament also saw the launch of a Leos Alumni Fund which former Leos are contributing towards assisting needy students, in particular those of the rugby team.  In the past, members of the Leos fraternity have come together to help their needy teammates. The Strathmore Leos has grown from humble background, training at All Saints Primary School to be one of the strongest sides in Kenya. Several Leos players have made it to both the national 7s and 15s team. Among the trophies the Leos have won include the Eric Shirley Shield, Impala floodlights and National Sevens Circuit
