BCOM Class of ’06 10yrs Reunion Dinner

On 5th August 2016, the BCom Class of ’06  10 years Reunion Dinner was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Upperhill, this marked their first Reunion since graduation.A black tie event that had everyone elegant and gallant in appearance and manner

The night was kicked off with a photo shoot on the red carpet, and the humming chatter of the alumni  as they caught up after many years. The beauty of this as unimaginable, as people embraced the young night with lots of excitement and cheer.Special guests Prof.Sperling and Dr.Wangombe were invited to commemorate the decade’s reunion.

Dinner was then served as the guests took their seats, an affectionate mood within the room as the diversity of the seating arrangement ensured constant chatter. The MC’s for the night Moses Kimani and Julie Gikundi  then took the stage and offset the night with a lot of laughter and stories from their own personal experience.

A beautiful tribute for the dearly departed members of the BCom graduating class of 2006 was given and a moment of silence observed.May the souls of  Neville Kamata and Benjamin Ndolo Musyoka rest in eternal peace.

The night progressed as the laughter evidently increased and comfort felt, and during this time the best dressed lady and gentleman were awarded a bottle of wine and whisky respectively. The Alumni Office prepared give aways for all attendees.Prof Sperling and Dr. wangombe gave brief speeches and were given ‘special gifts’ as a way of showing appreciation for taking time to join in the reunion.

 The chairman of the organizing committee gave out a vote of thanks and welcomed his former classmates to give out suggestions on how to participate in SU alumni activities.This particular session was entirely for brainstorming and as for the outcome, we couldn’t ask for more.The night ended at a perfect note.
