Who Qualifies

Any deserving person who wishes  to attend courses at Strathmore University.

University Scholarship Conditions

The candidate must prove his/her inability to pursue a course at Strathmore without financial help.  For this purpose, all candidates are required to fill in an Application Form and state the following information: 

1. Current profession/employment/job situation and income/salary of both the father and the mother or guardian, as the case may be.
2. Number of children in the family, including age and schooling or employment situation, where applicable.  Any School fees paid by the parents/guardian for the education of their children should also be included.
3. Property/assets of the family.
4. Any other relevant financial obligations.
5. Indicate who was paying the candidate's secondary school fees, their amount and the reason why the same source is no longer available.
6. The Parent/Guardian of the candidate will sign a certificate stating the truthfulness of the information contained.  Any inaccuracy in the data provided will automatically disqualify the candidate.
7. Candidates should have stable accommodation in Nairobi with basic facilities to live and study.  The candidate should provide adequate information of this when filling in the Application Form.

How to Apply

Any person wishing to apply for a scholarship should write a letter of application to the Scholarship Committee and will be informed of the availability of scholarships and other details.
