Scholarship holders will have their scholarship renewed provided all the following conditions are met:

• Discipline:  the student had no suspensions, no written warnings and no record of instances of misconduct in the preceding semester.
• Attendance:  The student should have attended all classes in the preceding semester unless for a grave reason (accident, illness, etc.).  In such cases, the student should inform the respective Course Director in good time and request written permission for the absence.  The Course Director, at his/her discretion, might request the student to produce the necessary documentation.
• Academic Performance:  the student should have submitted and completed satisfactorily all the homework requested by the Lecturers; he/she should have sat and completed satisfactorily all the internal tests set for the course subjects; and he/she should have been rated consistently in the top half of the class.
• The new course applied for is a continuation of the course for which the initial scholarship was granted and within the limits stipulated.
• The financial situation of the family has not substantially improved since the time the original scholarship was granted.
