  Skills Enhancement Programme
Goals of the Programme

The aim of the programme is to meet the challenge of preparing students as they make the transition from secondary school to university and college life.

The skills required to succeed in university/college are different from those required in secondary schools and very many students find it difficult to make quick adjustments especially in the instructional methods.

The programme will be of special interest to students who have not had any contact at all with the business world and who need to develop skills that will enable them to attain their full potential in university/college.

The tutorial system will be available to students during the course of the programme.

Aims of the Programme

1.  To improve students' skills in required areas to allow them to come up to par with international standards for undergraduates the world over
2.  Improvement in written and oral communication.
3.  To develop independent study habits, essential for academic education.

  • To enable students to develop strengths that will enable them to be independent but directed students in the unstructured university life.
