There are various procedures that DLC students should comply with. These are as follows:
- You must understand that the study material may be supplied in parts. For some courses the bulk of textbooks and study packs will, however, be sent on commencement of the course.
- The University will provide tuition until the mock examination paper and all comprehensive assignments are complete. Revision Courses for students who have to resit examinations will be available for as long as required. Such Revision Courses will require additional fees.
- The University will pay postage on everything sent to students but students will pay postage for everything they send to the University.
- The EMS Courier and Akamba Bus Service are the University's agents for the conveyance of all study materials, correspondence and any other written materials addressed to the student, and likewise for the student's response to the University in terms of answer papers or other materials.
- You must not allow anyone else to use the Study Packs supplied to you. If you are found doing this you may face legal action by the University and the withdrawal of all remaining facilities on your study course.
- Application is subject to acceptance by the Distance Learning Centre of the University and is not subject to cancellation on your part. Money paid for or on account of a course is non-refundable.
- The University does not accept responsibility for a student's eligibility or entrance for any Public Examination. Applicants must have registered with KASNEB (as students) before commencing the study course.
- The University reserves the right to make an appropriate charge if the examination syllabus is changed and this involves the supply of additional study materials or the correction of extra tests.
- If you wish to provide the University with further information which you consider helpful please attach such information to the Enrolment Form.
