To apply for the Distance Learning Course simply follow the steps detailed below:

•  Contact the DLC Director either by post, telephone, fax or e-mail. You may also visit our offices at the University. The telephone number, the fax number and the e-mail address are shown below.
•  The University will then send you an Enrolment Form, a brochure and the fee structure.
• You can also download the Enrolment forms in two formats: Word format, PDF format and ACCA Form
•  On completing the Enrolment Form, you can either send it to the University with a cheque enclosed or bring it personally and pay cash.
• Upon receipt of the fees, the University will then dispatch the Course books and materials to you.

Evaluation of the Student

Students are evaluated through comprehensive assignments sent together with the Course books.

The student should send the completed assignments to the University. These are marked by highly-qualified Strathmore lecturers and then sent back to you. This will give you an opportunity to evaluate your progress.

Any enquiries you have can be sent to the University by post or e-mail.

Payment Details

The University will not accept "hire-purchase". Single subjects may only be purchased if one has been "referred" by KASNEB or if one is pursuing CPS Sections 4, 5 or 6. Payment Details

We use EMS Courier as the official conveyor of our parcels in Kenya and Akamba Bus Services for Kampala. Whenever they reach your vicinity they will phone you to locate your premises for safe delivery. You should give us your telephone contact, either private or that of the employer, to enable us to send the study materials. If you are in Kenya and you have no telephone contact, you will have to come to the University in person or send someone to collect the study material on your behalf.

Students who so wish may collect the course materials from the University. Please indicate on the Enrolment Form the preferred method of receiving the course materials.

You must also enclose a photocopy of both sides of your ID card and a passport-size photograph of yourself. If you have supplied these items on previous courses, you do not need to send them again, but please make reference to the course for which you supplied them.

On receipt of your remittance with the completed Enrolment Form, the course materials will be dispatched to you.
