Strathmore University Library comprises of a new library complex with a floor space of 2500 square metres. There is also a university library reading room that has a floor space of 450 square metres.

The new library, designed in accordance with the Standards and Guidelines for University Libraries issued by Kenya's Commission of Higher Education, boasts a wide range of course reference works and information resources of general interest in an atmosphere highly conducive to private study and research.

The University wishes to record its gratitude to the European Union whose grant has made the construction of the new University Library possible.
