 Students at the Strathmore Law School building Prof Githu Muigai, the Attorney General of the Republic of Kenya will give the official address at the launch of Strathmore Law School (SLS) on Saturday, 28th April at the Strathmore Business School atrium. The launch will begin at 10.30am. SLS has been received very positively by the public. It started admitting students this month after it got full approval from the Council for Legal Education in late March. Admission interviews for the pioneer class on. Interview requirements can be accessed here: SLS interview requirements. Dr Luis Franceschi, the Dean of SLS says the school will close admission for the pioneer class end of May. The pioneer class will begin in July at the start of the University's 2012-2013 Academic year. The program for the launch is as follows | 10.30 am | Guests Arrival at SBS Atrium | | 11:00 am | Opening Prayer | | 11.05 am | Welcoming of guests by the Dean Strathmore Law School – Dr. Luis Franceschi | | 11.15 am | Performance by the Kenya National Youth Orchestra | | 11.35 am | Opening Remarks by the Vice Chancellor, Strathmore University Prof. John Odhiambo | | 11.45 am | Why Strathmore Law School: Prof. Patricia Kameri-Mbote, Chair, SLS Advisory Board | | 12.00 pm | Official Opening Address by the Attorney General – Hon. Prof. Githu Muigai | | 12.20 pm | Performance by the Kenya National Youth Orchestra | | 12.40 pm | Official Launch of SLS and cutting the ribbon | | 12.50 pm | Closing remarks by Dr Luis Franceschi, Dean SLS | | 01.00 pm | Lunch is served at the auditorium |
