Minimum Entry Requirements for BBIT, BCOM, BLM, BHM, and BTM
KCSE mean grade C+ with a minimum of C in Maths and English. OR A-level with 2 principal passes and 1 subsidiary pass, plus O-level 6 credits which should include Maths and English.
BBIT Exempt- Diploma in Business Information Technology and the minimum qualifications stated above
BCOM Exempt- CPA or ACCA Finalist and the above qualifications
BLM Exempt-Diploma in Leadership and Management and the above qualifications

Minimum Entry Requirements
KCSE mean grade of C+ with a minimum of C in both Maths and English. OR A level: Minimum of two Principal Passes and one Subsidiary, and a minimum of a Credit Pass in Maths at KCE. OR KCSE aggregate C with a Professional Certificate in Information Technology or a relevant discipline from an institution recognised by the Academic Council.

Master of Commerce
The Master of Commerce program will have both full time and evening intakes in May
Entry Requirements
Holders of First Class (or GPA of 3.45 – 4) or Upper Second Class (or GPA of 2.85 – 3.44) degrees in Commerce or Business Studies from recognized universities. OR holders of Lower Second Class degrees in Commerce or Business Studies or at least 2.5 G.P.A plus Postgraduate Diplomas or Certificates in relevant fields of study; or with at least two years working experience in a business or research environment.
Master of Science in Computer-Based Information Systems
Entry Requirements
Holders of First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degrees in any discipline from a recognized university. OR holders of other related qualifications from recognized universities, considered by the Academic Council as equivalent to a First Class or Upper Second Class degree in any discipline. OR holders of Lower Second Class degrees plus Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate in IT.
The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSc.IT)
Entry Requirements
Holders of First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degrees in a Computer Science or IT from recognized university. OR holders of other related qualifications from recognized universities, considered by the Academic Council as equivalent to a First Class or Upper Second Class degree in Computer Science or IT discipline. OR holders of Lower Second Class degrees plus Postgraduate Diplomas or Certificates, in computer science or IT. OR holders of a first degree in IT with at least two year's working experience in a business or research environment.
Entrance Examination for Undergraduate Degrees, and Diploma courses
Candidates wishing to enroll for any degree, and diploma courses are required to sit for an entrance examination. It consists of Mathematics and English examination and an oral interview.
Interviews for undergraduate degrees, diploma, and professional courses are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Candidates should report to the University by 8.00am, on the day of the interview and should bring 3 passport-size photographs, a copy of national ID, birth certificate or passport; original and photocopies of all relevant academic and professional certificates and KShs 600 entrance examination fee.
Entrance Examination for Graduate Programmes
Candidates wishing to enroll for a graduate programme are required to sit for an entrance examination. It consists of Mathematics and English examination and an oral interview.
Interviews for graduate Programmes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays. Candidates should report to the University by 2.00pm, on the day of the interview and should bring 3 passport-size photographs, a copy of national ID, birth certificate or passport; original and photocopies of all relevant academic and professional certificates and KShs 1000 entrance examination fee.

To help students, parents and guardians manage education financing better, Strathmore has partnered with Commercial Bank of Africa and the World Bank's International Finance Corporation to offer low-interest loans to students pursuing degrees and diplomas at the University.
Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
Strathmore is chartered by the government of Kenya so its degree students can also get loans from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
